Part-Time Public Relations Consultant  | August 2018-Present |

  • Selected to continue at the firm as a part time publicist for top titles from 47North and Top Shelf Productions.
  • Conducted research to discover and pitch new markets for titles such as Robert Masello’s The Night Crossing and The Jekyll Island Chronicles graphic novel series.
  • Prepared detailed, intensive weekly media reports and media flashes for clients.
  • Created and edited persuasive press releases to be released to media outlets all over the country.

Public Relations Intern | May-August 2018 |

  • Created media outreach material, including press releases, pitches, original content opportunities and listicles for top titles from publishers such as Macmillan/Tor Books, Simon and Schuster/Saga Press, and Harper Collins.
  • Researched and discovered new markets, such as magazines, blogs, and news outlets, for authors and titles
  • Led intern responsibilities, in conjunction with Partner, for media coverage of Rebecca Roanhorse’s Trail of Lightning, including intensive pitching and follow up on media leads.
  • Pitched into local markets, often calling into radio and television stations, to book media opportunities for authors such as James Murry, “Murr” from TV show Impractical Jokers
